Humanitarian race in cooperation with the Macedonian Red Cross

The Red Cross of Macedonia, Red Cross of Skopje, with the support of the company Transmet – Skopje, on May 18(Wednesday) at 10:00 pm on the bank of the river Vardar (at the City Beach / Volleyball court) organized a happening-humanitarian race in which around 150 elementary and high school students from 19 schools in Skopje participated, where the project for School clubs for education and prevention is being implemented.

The purpose of this event is to encourage young people and highlighting their achievements within the environment, where also the winners of the primary and secondary schools for the first place title were awarded a prize weekend for two at the resort Solferino in Struga.

At the beginning of the activity  a representative from the company Transmet ,donor to the Project, and representatives of the Red Cross and the schools involved in the project, addressed to the students.

“Today’s humanitarian race is part of that company’s activities which Transmet jointly organizes in cooperation with the Red Cross within the Project School clubs for education and prevention .Transmet as a socially responsible company invests in the young people because in them we recognize individuals who have the power to make the world we live a better placein by promoting peace and tolerance, and also who strive to create a warm inclusive and healthy environment that promotes, supports and encourages the involvement of young people as global citizens and leaders in the local communities where they live, “- said the representative from Transmet.
